Alane Gianetti '10
Alane graduated from Muhlenberg in 2010 with a BA in studio art and since then, has always done something related to art or design. While at ’Berg, she was able to take a wide range of classes, not just ones that pertained to her major, and was able to participate in the study abroad program. She loved being able to explore whatever interested her and she thinks that’s definitely shaped the paths she’s taken since graduating. After holding internships in the art world and working at an art gallery, she accepted a job at Penguin Random House in their cover art department and she’s been there for the past 5 years. Currently, she’s a book cover designer and is able to work on a wide range of titles from adult fiction to nonfiction. She’s also owned her own calligraphy business for the past 2 years. What started as a hobby and a creative outlet has quickly grown into so much more and she has big dreams for her business in the coming year!
